Road Trip: North Tacoma Goodwill

We are the Goldilocks’ of Goodwill and the North Tacoma Goodwill proved Juuuuust Riggght!

The 4th and last thrifting stop of the day for us, at the North Tacoma Goodwill we found ourselves teetering on worn out. I know, hard to believe that we could get our fill. But we hang tough! We enjoyed both the 72nd Street Tacoma and the 38th Street Tacoma Goodwills, but were ready to make the last stop after our tour of the new Hosmer South Tacoma Goodwill.

Located a little off the freeway in a strip mall in a slightly older and more affluent area of Tacoma, the merchandise at the North Tacoma Goodwill reflects the neighborhood. The building has the feel of an old Ross Store.

GWH Strategy (if you need a refresher)

This rather small Goodwill followed the normal Goodwill layout. No surprises. Nicely organized and clean, we were very happy to finally spot some Pyrex!

Quality is the theme of this store. Look at this old radio!

#regrets. I’m not sure why this adorable picture got left behind.

The Media section had great like-new cookbooks.

Out of the three original Tacoma Goodwill Stores, (not including the new Hosmer South Tacoma Goodwill location) this one we found to contain the perfect second-hand mixture of quantity, quality, organization, and clutter. Everyone has their preferences, but if you are in the area, make sure you check out the North Tacoma Goodwill.

Check out our WA Goodwill Guide if you are in the Tacoma area looking for a good thrift experience. Leave a comment if you agree or disagree with the thoughts we have on the Goodwill Stores that you visit on your Road Trip.
